Plain terms for a provenance-first service.

By accessing or using the service, you agree to follow these draft terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are pending legal review and may change before the public service opens.

Agent Datasets aggregates structured data from identified third-party and government sources and makes it available over MCP and REST. It is an information service, not investment, legal, accounting, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for decisions made with its outputs.

You may use the public service and its redistributable outputs in applications and agent workflows, subject to these terms, the source-specific obligations described on the attribution page, and the access controls applied to your key. Do not bypass access controls or use the service to obtain data that your credential is not permitted to receive.

Responses carry source tags. Preserve the attribution and notices that apply to those tags when using or sharing the data. The attribution register maps each public source tag to its publisher, license, required attribution, and notices, including the Census Bureau non-endorsement notice where applicable.

Some provider-licensed data is available only to internal keys and is not redistributable through the public service. In particular, the licensing register marks Tiingo price and quote data as internal and non-redistributable. Public credentials are gated from restricted rows; mixed-source tools omit restricted values. Do not attempt to extract, display, or share provider data that is restricted to the internal surface.

Use the service fairly and respect the bounds and rate limits communicated by the API. We may limit requests to protect reliability and comply with upstream access rules. SEC EDGAR access is made with a declared identity and is throttled below the SEC fair-access ceiling of 10 requests per second; users must not use the service to evade those controls.

The service and its outputs are provided as is. Data may be delayed, incomplete, revised, or unavailable. Verify important information against the identified publisher and do not assume uninterrupted access.

We may change the service, these terms, and the public data surface as sources, licensing postures, or operating requirements change. The current published draft replaces earlier drafts.
